Fair Fish (SA) Co-Operative Limited is a Community Supported Fishery (‘CSF’); a grass roots, alternative business model for local fishermen to sell their seafood. They allow direct sales to local consumers and provide a facility that encourages community engagement and food traceability. The original model allowed consumers to purchase a share of the day’s catch directly from local fishermen through an online platform.

During COVID-19, our business model had to evolve and adapt to a new way of living. This saw the introduction of our virtual shop front via the Fair Fish website.

Today, there are multiple ways that you can get access to some of the State’s freshest seafood. Visit us in person at our retail shop, 6/430 Brighton Road, Brighton or if online is more your style, then our online shop is the way to go. The website is updated daily with the available catch, you can then select your fish species, pay for it online and pick it up or it can be delivered straight to your home. Simple as that! Fresh South Australian fish direct from our local fishers. *All orders received before 5pm Wednesday, will be delivered by Friday (includes local pick up).

In keeping with our original model, Fair Fish is also offering the Fair Fish SA Seasonality Box where you can subscribe for a share of the weekly catch. Every subscription has a popular species and a secondary species to the total value of $40.00. You can select this option in the online shop.
